“Mamma did you cut your self?” After all these years, I still haven't mastered the art of peeling a pomegranate without staining my hands crimson, like a painter's brush dipped in rich red hues. Once, I attempted to use cutlery, but it lacked the same intimacy, the same connection with the fruit's essence.
